Encounter Church Takes On Pittsburg!

Pittsburgh wasn’t only home to the Steelers this week, but to Encounter Church.

On Tuesday, October 17th, members of EC packed their bags and made their way to Pittsburgh, PA to attend The River Network’s “Planting Healthy Churches” conference.

The River Network, founded by Steve Cordle, serves to strengthen church planters through discernment, training, coaching and continuing education. The River Network International has a partnership with the Global Methodist Church to assist new church plants.

During the conference, EC members learned the ins and outs of planting a new church, the importance of discipleship, following the church model provided to us in the book of Acts, and living in the authority that we have though Christ Jesus.
